Learning Intention: WALT collate important information to create a facts chart
  1. Read the information about your Maori King/Queen to yourself
  2. Underline all the important facts
  3. Come together in your group and discuss the important facts
    • Who is the person you are studying?
    • Why is he/she important?
    • What happened during his/her reign?
    • When did he/she die?
    • How did he/she die?
    • What other important facts can you share?
    • After your discussion, write all your facts on a chart
    • Share your work with the rest of the class
